Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline for 2026 and beyond, we’re recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join Shanco at our new premises in Garforth.

We work on groundworks packages ranging from £50k to £4 million, covering everything from new build hospitals to schools, military bases and live prison sites. What you’ll be doing:
- Managing valuations, payment applications, and commercial reporting
- Working closely with site teams to capture changes and maximise value
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues
- Visiting sites, pricing tenders, and supporting the full project lifecycle
- Driving clear communication and smart commercial decisions
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years in Quantity Surveying working across civils/groundworks
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Confident using Excel, measuring software, and reading drawings
- A team player who likes getting stuck in
- CSCS card and ability to pass Prison Security Clearance
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience
