On recommendation to Balfour Beatty, Shanco were awarded the reinforced concrete and full groundworks package to the new Sheffield Fire Station.

Works consisted of a reinforced concrete basement, transfer slab and general foundation and concrete flooring operations as well as the full drainage and final landscaping works.

Works to the site in Sheffield City Centre were meticulously planned by Shanco's management team to ensure that works by other sub-contractors did not interfere with the tight programme of works.
