Shanco re-laid a 45 year old footway to improve safety for congregation and visitors to The Holy Redeemer CofE Church on Boroughbridge Road, York. The 30mtr long footpath was in a state of disrepair and creating a hazard for visitors to the church. Along with re-laying the footway, Shanco also donated and installed a set of Cycle stands to assist the church in their attempts to encourage green forms of transport.
The local community improvement day as organised by Wates Construction, who are the principal contractors on the new £17m Manor School project in nearby Nether Poppleton.
Shanco would like to thank the key members of our supply chain for their contributions to making the day a success.
