Shanco commenced their groundworks package to the new state-of-the-art leisure centre in July 2007, with a 8000m3 reduced level dig and muck shifting exercise. In addition to the reinforced concrete foundations and floors etc, Shanco also carried out all the drainage works (including a 36m x 8m x 4m deep attenuation tank) and external landscaping operations.
