Following recommendation from their construction department, Wates' Housing Division Living Space awarded this large groundworks package to Shanco in January 2007. Due to the natural gradient of the site, Shanco's remit was to construct the RC foundations for 40 no. Housing units with a complex series of stepped piled groundbeams. The groundworks package also included over 1200m of foul and surface water drainage which included 9 separate connections into the main highway.
